KalmantaReleasing IYE was a mistake. It’s too similar to BL, which was at the time still very popular with both streaming audiences and radio. I always wondered how Hardest To Love could perform in the US, it would’ve been a rather bold move to release it there. Imo they should have pushed Scared To Live as a fall release, ballads are a great fit for this time of the year. Maybe even take the SNL live version as the official single.
