spongebobU really have no concept of creative vision like if the label owns your masters they can put that song in places or causes u don't align with, brands u don't f*** with, its basically ur song is now the labels tool for cashing in instead of yours
s*** is a predatory business and its better for artists who give a f*** about how their music is represented to have creative control
That’s why i said it’s more abt principle for the big name artists.
