    Not even being a music snob, but from those responses I know their ability to take in music isn't on the same level as mine, so I don't even wanna engage. No matter what I say they're just gonna dig in deeper to be stubborn and save face.

    What really triggered me was when he said, "after those 3 mixtapes..ALL his songs.."

    So obviously you didn't listen to KissLand or Afterhours.

    I hate when people give uneducated takes and others agree.

    Like, how does Gasoline, HDIMYLM, Best Friends, sound like "throwaways"?

    And even the songs that are in the MJ vein, (Out of Time, Sacrifice) sound fking amazing.

    Starry Eyes, Is There Someone Else and Dont Break My Heart sounds like as throwaways tbh

    Nah I do respect that he trying. I don't think Dawn FM touches the topic of death or purgatory enough for me. I think the next album will. Again I keep mentioning Flying Lotus You're Dead for a reason. This feels like part 1 of a clear part 2

    Crazy thing is that the more that people like it, the more is makes the naysayers mad instead of trying to give it a chance.

    Timeless music will be always given its praise in due time. I don’t want to sound like a crazy stan especially after the recent events of sales threads lol but I really can’t see how this doesn’t end up having a top spot on a lot of major publications’ year end lists.
