Need cocteau twins, beach house influenced project
He’s sampled them, always talks about them etc but we need an actual full on dream pop record
No we don't
In other words I WANT A DREAM POP ABEL ALBUM
There’s definitely elements of Dreampop on After Hours lol

I just think that experimental stuff sailed with Trilogy/KL. He'll still experiment with stuff like the garage tracks on MDM and AH, but I don't think it's a good move to make full on dream pop s***, just wishful thinking for no reason. Maybe more he will sample songs from more esoteric bands and artists in the future, but I don't want him to totally change his sound

Like what? I just thought it was relaxed electronic production mostly like on Escape from LA, Too Late or synth ambient stuff like Scared to Live or Repeat After Me

Stuff like the title track, until I bleed out, alone again (the beginning) and too late imo. Faith has some elements blended in there with the electro sounds too

Idt any of that is dream pop, but it's dreamy for sure. Dream pop is s*** like cocteau twins has to have rock features imo. The Knowing is an example of a influenced dream pop song by Weeknd
