Yeah I don't know why he mentioned it. Everyone at the time said that it was obvious Diplo (who produced it) and Usher were inspired by his sound. He got credit. Plus, I mean, the lyrics in that are miles above anything he's ever done.
that comment seems to be overshadowing the rest of the interview which is a shame.
