Everyone is saying Dawn FM failed but critically, it was a success - his fans really liked it - and it directly led to a huge stadium tour that made a ton of money. Those are way more important than first week sales or one song blowing up.

The roll out right now looks like The Weeknd is trying to complete a vision - not trying to appeal to the masses. Everything he's done so far is objectively weird. As a fan, I'm cool with that.
