We all love after hours and most of us here consider that his best work.. now imagine after hours with a carti feature.

Also São Paulo i can be optimistic for that song since it’s a different type of approach and it might work on the album.

But a generic carti feature, lead single DITF took away the hype I got from the first teasers which were teased on Instagram months ago

And mark my words this album will not be as commercial number wise as after hours was or starboy. So why go out with lazy work on your last album. I know the weeknd got it in him to top after hours creative wise but I think he cares more about the numbers at this moment

There is an Uzi remix of Heartless which would've fit like a glove on the album version.

You can not want for Carti to be on the album but calling it generic is very funny lol

Respectfully, why do you think that?
I think it’s important in its context of showing him regaining his faith after BBTM era with the devil, and in establishing Able as the pop force he is today, but sound wise, it’s the least “Weeknd-y” album to me.
I know the trap influences are still part of his sound, but I never thought they fit him as well as his other sounds until Heartless leveled it up

Maybe I used the wrong word for it. I just think Abel is better on his own and his previous work proved that for me. And it’s the biggest compliment he can get. He is the only artist imo who never needs features

I agree with this as of this writing. Hopefully Timeless will be a feat and not an album track.
