i agree for the most part, there’s a lot of terrible reactor content that’s just people playing up reactions so fans of that artist watch but there are a few great channels (like JD) where the person is chill and knows about music. and it’s cool to see the perspective of someone older but with similar music tastes approaching something like trilogy with entirely different reference points than all my friends who grew up in the same time and come at it the same way

and like others said seeing someone like something you love is gratifying lol, same kind of concept as putting a friend on to a new song/artist
