Personally don’t see how Timeless and Sau Paulo are gonna fit on this album and not sound out of place

Sonically they might not have similarities, but how it has been with the past two albums, I get the feeling that thematically and lyrically they’ll flow and make sense. I just don’t get how we’ve been through the same thing beforehand in regards to being worried about the singles, when his full bodies of work clearly speak for themselves

I love starboy so a playlist with songs with not much of a story behind it would be fine for me normally. But to end this trilogy it should be in line with the other 2

I love Starboy, but I consider it his second worst album. There are multiple skips on that album.

So I agree with you, it’d be weird to end like that. Unless every song is great, but I think I need cohesion to think DITF is a great song (unless the album version is extended ala TMB).

    No they did not

One was a very dark and heavy trap-inspired toxic song produced by Metro Boomin and the other was an 80s throwback made-for-the-radio pop song produced by Max Martin

Timeless and Dancing in the Flames are literally the exact two same ends of the spectrum

BL and heartless were much more cohesive than what we have now. especially since by the time those dropped we had visual identity and overall theme for the album set in place. plus, they are much better songs on their own

    No they were not man

Both songs were "dark" and that's where the similarities stopped

Unless you mean they were cohesive because of the music videos but that has nothing to do with the actual music

it's a testament to how legendary mike was man. jermaine doesn't sound bad at all but when mike comes in, it's OVER

    It’s even worse here

Michael comes out and completely owns the stage and songs, absolutely crazy.

    1000000000000/10 aura

He has a similar effect in Can You Feel It... As soon as he enters it's over for everyone else
