Do people not remember that After Hoursâs rollout started in November 2019 and the date wasnât revealed until February 2020?
Have some patience man, itâs still been less than one month since the first single
After Hours is a very different situation
it wasnt his final album and many of us didnt give it any full attantion til february

You forgot the teasing with the ( ? ) started in January.. of course people are hyped and impatient we are waiting for almost a year now.. besides that itâs also his longest in between albums
Considering this is his last album as "The Weeknd" the roll out has been underwhelming since the Sao Paolo concert

He only did that cause Wake Me Up leaked
The start of the "teasing" for the new album began like a week after Dawn dropped too so
I would say the real start of an "official rollout" was the first trailer he posted

Can someone tell me what these Australian shows add to the rollout or he is simply doing this for the bag?
He still has some momentum but what casual not die hard do you think is just crazy hyped for final weeknd album
Who cares what casual fans think, I just want the music

The original dates got cancelled, so I would assume its just to not let the fans down after planning to go there.
He kept it branded as AHTD, even tho its not really the same concept for the tour, essentially just to keep it as a "make-up" of the cancelled shows and not a new thing.

Youâre 100% wrong, that album was immensely anticipated in 2019

Teasing is not a part of the rollout
And technically no. Between releases, yes, but there was three and a half years between Starboy and After Hours

music can be mainstream or underground its not about the sounds its about the delivery method and accessiblity
if you want to talk about targetting mainstream demo that is different
hope this helps
