The thing is all of us thought the song sounded generational when it was debuted in São Paolo, and we all love the acoustic version.

There’s a good song in there, they just flubbed the studio version with some choices they made

lol it was just a tour song its still not out ever fans have done completions of the songs same as i listen to a completed hold your heart

but teasing a song 2-3 months in advance with no release date for the song or album is just baffling had all the momentum in the world. Had post notifications on and was a consistent release schedule then said "fuck it my fans dont care apple decide my rollut"

so when you got fans making excuses for that s*** I get annoyed because

1. I am not even talking to you
2. if you believe its a great rollout thats great
3. THIS IS HIS FINAL ALBUM AS THE WEEKND AND even if he does release art or tour again he needs a break to work on other art that makes him happy same as frank ocean took a well deseved break

Endless and Blonde rollouts were actually dope. So to call a fan entitled for wanting a better rollout is annoying

I have accepted After Hours best, glimpses of greatness on Dawn and based on this will be my least favorite of trilogy especially production and lyrics wise

I’m a fan of the Tyler rollout strategy. Only speaking when music is fully finished and it drops with 2-4 weeks from when he says anything

I know not everyone has the luxury of doing that but if anyone does it’s Abel. He could plan a full on rollout blitz that’s focused for a month and drop the album

Even Halsey had a fire album rollout this time around

he cant do the tyler rollout strategy because UMG and Lucian have their desired sales numbers for his final project and how best to milk . Which is sad all around because no one in their right mind can think how this rollout has gone so far is how he creatively wants to move with his fans front to back.

I think he could make cooler stuff than he currently does although The Idol was a misstep for his aura

I liked parts of it. Features poorly used and glad he had lyrical creative freedom/ storytelling even if I wish it was significantly longer at times or again played with song lengths. Dont need so much radio bait

Tyler feature is horrible but I like the production on it a lot. It’s super pretty and has some dope grooves to it

I wish with both concept albums the concept was less abstract. Call me dumb but there’s not really a story to it when you just listen, I hear all that storyline stuff online but I’ve never really gotten much from the albums idk
