Buddy ass throwing up all white bricks
No wonder we in the thick of a rollout with no release date still
Timeless is the only exception and itâs mostly for the beat and Carti. Nigga making Rick roll music
Rick roll music
the label got this album shelved
so over
You think its cool? You think its funny? You prolly thought I would blame Carti, but I blame you.Who has made reference tracks for other artists? You. Who has more leaked reference tracks online going back to 2020? You.
Who mangled together Carti's verse from another song to fit on your Madonna bullshit Idol soundtrack? You. I blame You. Kanye is smart enough to understand that Carti doesn't need Ai. And as long as Carti is high, and making money, he will just go with the flow. You are supposed to be the artist that pushes him. You are supposed to be an artist that believes in making music that makes you FEEL something. I feel pain. Distrust. Embarrassment. I'm disgusted with you. I'm disgusted with what you have become. Stop trying to be an "Actor" stop trying to be a
"Performer" and how about you man up and be a true artist. The Weeknd I know would have b**** slapped someone as soon as they even mention using Ai.

aside from people that actually don't like the music or the videos(which is totally fine), there is a large number of this fanbase that has a specific vision of what the music should sound like and look like, and they get pissy when it isn't like that.
This has been pretty much a theme all his career, and he keeps on throwing curveballs every single time.
I'm glad he even said this himself in that Billboard interview before the Sao Paulo show.
"There is always pressure to surpass my last project,â he says about the new era, presented for the first time at the show in SĂŁo Paulo. âGrowth is important. Sometimes it may not be what people want to hear from me at the moment, but, when the body of work is complete, I hope they can appreciate what I have been trying to achieve. I have been working on this discography for a long time. It was all planned,â he assures, escaping from the monotony. âI always try to achieve something that I havenât done before musically. Sometimes it may not be clear on the first listen to the album, but fans seem to figure it out over time,â he believes."

SĂŁo Paulo, what are we listening to? this is his 'final' album as The Weeknd. Complete and utter dog water. A few lines of Anitta which have been copy and pasted. This is coming from Abel, the man who wore a red suit 2 years straight for the release of After Hours. Timeless (in my opinion being the best track). Like, what? What in the actual f are we listening to in SĂŁo Paulo? Most of his projects are insanely cohesive, and come together when listened to in all. But this is trash. He is so creative and he decided to go with what? A copy and pasted verse from Anitta (who no one cares about btw) and him saying 'take it easy on me'.
But if anyone can help me see SĂŁo Paulo in a positive light, I welcome it. What the actual f are we listening to with SĂŁo Paulo? I am genuine in asking, can anyone help me see this track in a positive way? Dun du dun du dan, (Portuguese lyrics rinse and repeat) dun du dun du dan)

I know you're trolling but he was cemented the day Thursday dropped all the other rings are just extra
I purchased a Limited Edition vinyl of "Hurry Up Tomorrow" about a month ago. Pretty cool and unique cover, I was excited.
After watching the "SĂŁo Paulo's" music video last night with my mom beside me, I could not help but change my tune on this Abel guy.
As I watched the 40 inch TV in disgust, I slowly turned my head to the right and saw the look of horror on my mother's face. I was so proud to share my favorite artist's latest work with her.
And yet? I left her disturbed and disheveled. The double Ds. The 3 minute-and-thirty-second travesty on our TCL TV shattered her expectations of the family friendly "Weeknd" she knew from Dawn FM.
This morning, I called American Express and canceled my vinyl order. I told them that the artist doesn't allow cancellation of the order, even though THERE IS NO RELEASE DATE for the product.
The customer service agent responded, "you bought the album but there's no release date?"
"Yeah," I whispered, "it's called Hurry Up Tomorrow. But really, it should be called 'Slow Down Next Year'."
"That's a shame. You still don't know when it'll come out?"
"No, we don't know. Can you please cancel this charge?"
"Of course," the agent gently murmurs, quickly removing the charge and thanking me for banking AmEx.
Join me in boycotting this betrayal of fans.
Them kids on that sub are so f***ing jarring

Feels like Iâve seen it before
THIS IS A KERWIN FROST EXCLUSIVE
Timeless the best track and mv so far
And that says a lot
You are 100% correct in saying Timeless is the best track, because it is. DITF is just him trying to recapture the Max Martin sound. SĂŁo Paulo is generic asf, coming from The Weeknd. Zero clue as to what he's trying to achieve with the tracks he has released for Hurry Up Tomorrow thus far, hope it all makes sense once all is said and done

How is Sao Paolo generic
Maybe itâs just me, but I absolutely love the fact that weâre getting thrown curveballs like this
Generic gotta be the dumbest term I have ever seen used to describe music
I BUY GENERIC S*** ALL THE TIME. S*** IS FINE!
People were calling DITF "generic" and still the only other song that sounds similar to it anyone could tell me is "We Can't Be Friends" cause of the melody, not even the synths
