TheFaderThis might sound like cope, but I genuinely think heâs trying to enjoy it.
Like, this is (seemingly) the last time heâs ever gonna rollout an album as The Weeknd, and also the last album in the trilogy that turned him into a global phenomenon.
I really feel like heâs trying to enjoy this moment every step of the way, rather than getting the album out as soon as possible.
I still think itâs coming this month though
I think this might be true. But just announcing the date isnât making it get here any sooner lol. He can announce the date and still enjoy the ride.

I think maybe he messed up by revealing the title and album cover way too early.
Imagine if we got the DITF release and video, then the Timeless release and video, then the SĂŁo Paolo release and video, and THEN today he revealed the cover and the album title.
I think that wouldâve went over a lot better for a lot of fans and didnât make it feel like we were waiting forever

The biggest head scratcher for me is why heâs choosing to withhold the date for this long.
To have one or two singles without a release date is one thing, but to have three is absurd, especially when heâs been actively promoting the album every week for the past two months basically.
And itâs not even like itâs a situation where the album is still being worked so that explains it, like we know this album is 100% done and turned in, why not just tell us the date at this point?

And itâs not even like itâs a situation where the album is still being worked so that explains it, like we know this album is 100% done and turned in, why not just tell us the date at this point?
I think it has something tk do with the movie situation at the moment, Iâve never really seen Abel hesitant to want to provide info, heâs always super excited and canât wait for that. It feels like he genuinely doesnât know what to do right now but wonât just be clear and say he doesnât know the plan at the moment or something.
Idk all I know is something feels off
