Worst roll out ever. First time this roll out that my hype is slowly fading away Iâm caring less and less
Damn. This is crazy coming from you
Also donât come at me with Abel doesnât care about numbers. We all know he does! A lot actually. Reposting every single stat and accomplishment. But this album has zero hype at this moment which is unfortunate because if he dropped around SĂŁo Paulo concert it would be the perfect timing.
Really crazy how this man derailed Euphoria
I blame that mostly on Sam Levinson. He had a commitment to see euphoria to its end but his pride in the success of the show made him spread himself thin to do a show for a friend that ended up being a complete waste of time, money and resources and now, euphoria, his one true calling card of success, may be in jeopardy as a result of his actions.
this s*** is dropping Q1 2025 at the EARLIEST. the lead is probably open hearts
The lead is probably Open Hearts? The lead single already dropped not to mention two other singles

This thread is going to explode when the date is announced. The ONLY people saying hype is gone is this website and r/TheWeeknd.
Yâall need to chill out man every single morning itâs the same story in this thread.
Most people arenât even thinking about new albums right now because of the election, please take a breather and step outside for a second
Fact of the matter is HUTâs 3 singles are considerably weaker to Dawn/Starboy so people are picking on the rollout more
This is true but the rollout is also weak, especially considering that he's promoting the album as his last album. It'd have been much better if he had a condensed rollout like Tyler, the Creator did and dropped within a week.
Divine is praying on her hands and knees every night that this album flops, nothing she says should be taken seriously

fickle as f*** supporters will say the absolute most but within an instant change their tune
y'all jumped me when i said the sao paulo show was dumb in its concept and previewing half the album lol
That too is the issue, I rather listen to everything when the album comes out
But everyone thought that the SĂŁo Paulo concert was a listening party and the album was coming out soon after that

Literally the entire thread was saying âweâre back!â when the film news was announced.
Now five days pass again with silence and itâs back to doom posting

Show me the promo saying this is his last album ?
Making up theories that the lead single still has yet to drop is just not it Iâm sorry

Would be terrible

I don't think people complaining are suggesting they won't listen when it drops. The whole reason why they're complaining is because they're huge fans who wanna see the album do well and be rolled out well, what with it being Abel's last album and whatnot. It'd be even worse if no one was complaining because they simply didn't give a f*** anymore lol.
I think every artist needs to realize that people have really short attention spans now and long, drawn-out and unfocused rollouts aren't the move anymore. Announce your album when you're ready to drop it or announce it but don't start the actual rollout till you're ready to drop it.
Show me the promo saying this is his last album ?
Didn't he say this is gonna be his last album as The Weeknd?
Would be terrible
That would actually make the average person super confused about this album and would make it seem like heâs not confident in the rollout. That would be the worst idea possible
I personally think the SĂŁo Paulo show was a great idea, IF he dropped the album in a short time after the concert. However, this 2+ month gap since then just makes no sense at all now.

Attention span stuff is bs, I hate that term, and itâs up to the artist to accommodate that if they wish, itâs not an obligation for any artist. when the work is ready to be shared, you can enjoy it, hate it, do what you want. And tbh I donât think the weeknd in particular cares about anyone with a short attn span whoâs going to listen/watch passively.
Also in this case, Iâm assuming the purchase to get the film distributed took a bit longer, so itâs affected the album release.
fans are creating expectations and being disappointed because theyâre doing that to themselves, and feel the need to constantly behave entitled for some reason, and try to connect dots when you donât even know whatâs going on. thatâs with every fandom of course but this harsh and angsty rollout talk seems to be new with the weeknd, I donât remember people being this annoying in the past

It feels like the SĂŁo Paolo show was his way of officially debuting the new album era for the casual fan. I donât think that it was ever intended to indicate anything about the album releasing imminently, especially since they had a long rollout of 3-4 singles planned and ready to go
Didn't he say this is gonna be his last album as The Weeknd?
It hasnât actually been promoted as his last album anywhere, but he did mention in an interview a year ago that it probably is

Thank you.
This is NOT the first time he has done a long or extended rollout, but this is the first time that I can remember the fanbase being so whiny and annoying about it
Thank you.

on every platform itâs the same, just chill out đ
maybe Iâm wrong but I think he garnered a crazy following post AH and that demographic are bored as f*** and incredibly obnoxious online
