#TheZone
I originally thought The Zone was too repetitive for its own good when I first heard it, but at some point, when I was relistening to Thursday, it clicked for me and now itâs one of my favorites from The Trilogy
Nothing happening
Singles werenât hitting like Abel thought they would. He back in the studio.

Itâs not even in the top 10?
Itâs not even in the top 10?
doesn't make that statement any less stupid

Not by The Weeknd's standards, no.
The meltdown in the sub will be astronomical if nothing happens today
is anything supposed to happen today? i've been out of the loop

fan pages teasing the title in unison abel liking etc

were you around for the video teasing? i swear it was like a year teasing that thing

It dropped almost two months ago and is projected to be #13 next week. Thatâs not a success?
Itâs steadily been within the Top 15 since it dropped, the only week it fell is when Tylerâs album dropped.
Itâs also currently #10 on US Spotify and #9 on US Apple Music. I really donât understand the people calling it a flop

I think yâall (you especially) are holding anything that isnât a Blinding Lights-level smash hit against him. He was NEVER going to replicate that songâs success. That song is a once-in-a-generation level hit

Yeah but blinding lights aside heartless debuted at #1. Doesnât seem to perform as well as his other singles. But then again only time can truly tell how it will perform. Iâm also based in The Netherlands and DITF is a hit over here getting radio play 24/7 while in the USA itâs called a flop.. so I have a different type of judgement.

No, Heartless did not debut at #1.
Heartless dropped on a Wednesday, so it debuted at #32.
It then jumped to #1 in itsâ first full week.
And then it recorded the biggest drop from #1 ever (at the time), falling all the way to #17 in itsâ 2nd week, and dropped to #26 in itsâ 3rd week. Sure, you can blame Christmas songs, but it did not re-enter the Top 10 until the album dropped in March 2020.
Timeless debuted at #3 (his highest debut ever), only fell to #12 in itsâ 2nd week, and has pretty much been hovering around that spot since, sans the one week where Tylerâs album dropped.
I really think yâall just have super rose tinted glasses about the entire After Hours era

Timeless is not a success for the caliber of an artist like weeknd.

Biggest debut from him ever btw
