these were floating around in the weeknd subreddit before the date announcement, so this doesn't mean s*** sadly .

edit: if this real tho, there's a decent amount of chance of a leak around the original album date.

Question:

If your best friend’s home was robbed, all valuables and personal possessions gone, and then you find out the same thing happened to someone on the other side of the country from you but you don’t directly know this person at all, which situation would you personally have more direct empathy for? Which one would you cancel actual plans you had yourself to help out?

An album release involves personnel that work for the label…. many of that personnel live in Los Angeles… many of them are currently losing their homes and everything they have… what’s not clicking?

I can’t even imagine some of the things that would be said about Abel had be gone through with the original release date and not be as involved in helping people right now

there’s very few to almost no artist that are as big as Abel thar are so passionate and direct about helping people whether the circumstances affect him or no or his people directly

I’m goad thsr genuine kindness doesn’t depend on the views and thoughts of those outside of it

Honestly don’t have high hopes for the album given the singles. Really hope the rest of the album is full of great tracks

it goes both ways, I’ve seen both, it’s unfortunate to see those that just have mental issues be treated like they don’t exist. That is completely unfair and inhumane, they deserve better.

I’ve also seen those exact people that have been ignored walk away and avoid the other homeless and ill that are so far gone and trying to cause chaos and damage, that’s what I was speaking about specifically. Skid Row is a mixed bag, I’ve seen a large amount of the latter sadly as of most recently. Which usually stems from the first group not being helped so their issues become heightened and exacerbated until they join the second group.

They all deserve better, but it’s tough when s*** isn’t taken care of properly.
