I've been wondering (or hoping) lately that he finds some new adlibs when he "ends" "The Weeknd" that "hey!" only rarely works for me tbh

Exactly. Half a bill streams on Spotify alone. Just in like what, 3 months or so. It's taken certain songs years to even approach that number and other popular songs that have been out years aren't even close to those numbers. I'd say the song is a hit, even if it wasn't number 1 on the hot 100.

Yeah it went top 5, still in the top 20, tons of streams, I hear it on the radio more than I'd like. Certainly a strong enough hit lol, lotta artists don't even get close to keeping that level of success like 10 projects in.

There was never ever any official source claiming that they were ever involved. I think people just assumed that because Trey Edward Shults’s first two films were both for A24
