The vinyl saying 1LP and “First Pressing” only reveals to us that this specific edition of the vinyl will be under a certain runtime (probably around 35-40 minutes).

It does not reveal anything about the track length, because LPs are determined by overall runtime, not track length.

Using Weeknd’s own projects as an example:

    • Kiss Land is only 10 tracks long, but has a runtime of 55 minutes, so it was pressed on to 2LP.

    • House of Balloons is only 9 tracks long, but has a runtime of 49 minutes, so it was pressed on to 2LP.

Hurry Up Tomorrow’s First Pressing vinyl being 1LP doesn’t mean the entire album is 8 tracks, nor does it mean that the tracklist on this first batch of vinyl will be the final tracklist of the album.

This is most likely a Cowboy Carter, Pink Friday 2, Mixtape Pluto scenario where the initial vinyl pressings for these albums didn’t include the full tracklists for each album. This could be done for a variety of reasons, but the main one is to ensure that physical copies are pressed and ready to go by the time the album releases.

This makes a lot of sense, thanks - didn’t realize other recent albums had done this with first pressings not having the full tracklist.

What are y’all not understanding about “First Pressing” lmao

It’s not the full album, it’s literally in the title

I know it’s not 1 lp, I’m saying if it was

fader gon defend 7 bundle vinyls for an unfinished album.

  • Jan 22, 2025

if he really put out 7 vinyl versions for 9 songs he is officially a deeply concussed scammer

    It says “first pressing” man

If you want the whole album on vinyl, just wait until it releases in a few months

I cannot imagine The Crowd is a song that is after Wake Me Up. To me that makes no sense. Unless it's an interlude or something

Def fake. He said there would be a track on the album called “Afterlife” and that’s not on here.

Also “Goats Ain’t Real”? Come on dawg
