How so? Most people that hate Dawn heavily prefer After Hours. Both albums are synth heavy, but one is clearly a bigger swing at dance/synth-pop music

It’s so weird. Synths will literally always make a song better

These are always the statements that get pulled out. At this point he’s been making this so called “80’s music” for a significantly longer time than the “dark Weeknd” music phase of his career. Yet they still keep make the damn damn complaints every single album drop.

The biggest accomplishment of this album is that it’s 22 tracks and no two songs feel redundant. When you make a long album, it’s very easy to succumb to having a few songs that are too similar sonically or structurally for both of them to exist on the project
