My only real gripe with this record is that I still donât fw Timeless like that. For me personally it didnât get recontextualized the way SĂŁo Paulo did, honestly my only real skip on the record (for now)

Timeless is just the hit of the album tbh
I honestly think I like this album just the way it is
idk man
every song getting better to me with each listen
The only songs I didnât enjoy upon first listen were Give Me Mercy and Drive, but both have grown on me on repeat listens, especially Give Me Mercy
What genre do you actually think heâll go as Abel?
I predict smooth r&b but still doing trap collabs
Like someone else said, I think itâll be adult contemporary, with a mix of folk and any type of genre that is native to this Ethiopian roots.
I think synth-heavy pop Abel might be over

Weirdly reminds me of turn me on by Kevin lyttle

Drive has this hypnotic effect on me when listening to it idk how to explain it
s*** had me in a trance first listen
Whatâs your favourite?
Open Hearts
Wake Me Up
Without A Warning
Red Terror
I can't wait to get there
man idk
i think he hiding something else
anyone else feel that way?
Maybe a deluxe, but with as long as this album was I donât buy the âsecond albumâ theory that was rumored for a bit
If âThe Long Goodbyeâ is real, I think itâll just be the subtitle for the deluxe of this record
wait....maybe Cry For Me was considered for a lead single before DITF, thats why it was registered on ASCAP so early

Label prob thought that s*** was too busy to be a good lead, made him go with the super ultra safe choice

I think you are right.
I will say this again: I believe with 100% certainty that DITF was forced by the label for an attempt at a more radio friendly lead single.
No other explanation makes sense for why it isnât even on the First Pressing of the album

Would've been better.
Dancing in the Flames too sterile and sauceless for this album.
Good lord
