My only real gripe with this record is that I still don’t fw Timeless like that. For me personally it didn’t get recontextualized the way São Paulo did, honestly my only real skip on the record (for now)

Timeless is just the hit of the album tbh

The only songs I didn’t enjoy upon first listen were Give Me Mercy and Drive, but both have grown on me on repeat listens, especially Give Me Mercy

Maybe a deluxe, but with as long as this album was I don’t buy the “second album” theory that was rumored for a bit

If “The Long Goodbye” is real, I think it’ll just be the subtitle for the deluxe of this record

wait....maybe Cry For Me was considered for a lead single before DITF, thats why it was registered on ASCAP so early

Label prob thought that s*** was too busy to be a good lead, made him go with the super ultra safe choice

I think you are right.

I will say this again: I believe with 100% certainty that DITF was forced by the label for an attempt at a more radio friendly lead single.

No other explanation makes sense for why it isn’t even on the First Pressing of the album

Would've been better.
Dancing in the Flames too sterile and sauceless for this album.
