Baptized in fear into open hearts is legitimately just crazy work dude
Lowkey i just listen to the end and beginning as if it was a song itself its that good
the best reaction channel dropped a vid btw
!https://youtu.be/M_IUUxylUaU?si=8V9ihO3pGXIQ6hH-I like this channel but they copied ttt lowkey
I wouldnât but I definitely understand
For me itâs just the early consistency is unmatched for Kanye. I think it boils down to that even though I would rank multiple albums above those Kanye albums
yeah i get you i would rank a couple ye albums over anything in the weeknd's discog too
but you have to take it as a whole, whether we like it or not, Kanye has ruined his discog with his later career releases
kind of goes back to what the weeknd was talking about on this album at some points in terms of the kind of legacy he wants to leave behind

I guess the essence of what Iâm trying to say is it took a lot longer for Kanye to drop a dud than The Weeknd so thatâs kinda what throws me off imo. And thereâs more entries of The Weeknd that I think are mid
âI hope youâre not back to the old youâ while the sprite is pouring into the double cup is diabolical

I hope og ron c, dj candlestick or slim k screw this soon đŠ
Yes but it wouldâve been fun and cool to run through his career as a journey
Imagine hearing hurry up tomorrow into high for this live and loop back around back to the HUT stuff
OmgâŚImagine
I would die fr
thereâs so much to say about this trilogy of albums as a whole
from the themes of party/afterparty/morning after, to putting yourself out there & getting your heart broken/self reflection/getting back out there, to living/dying/death, itâs amazing front to back
update:
also sin/purgatory/penance?
this explains why so many christians got triggered by the weekndâs âdemonicâ performances, it was an act for the first arc of the trilogy

Iâm really having trouble seeing it as a trilogy, this album feels more disconnected. I kind of see it but for some reason Iâm not seeing it like I want to
Niagara Falls is crack

Initially it was hell / purgatory / heaven or at least that was part of it
But the heaven part of the trilogy has more of him back in that trilogy hellscape than even after hours
I think given up on me â> Niagara Falls is weird track listing. Given up on me is oddly slow and then timeless is oddly upbeat

Wake Me Up is literally a transition from Dawn to Tomorrow. the song is like an echo of Dawn that leads into the rest of the album.
also, there are plenty of lyrics that put this as a clear sequel to Dawn. the WMU intro is an obvious example, but thereâs a few more times throughout the album where he does a similar speech. WMU intro also strongly reminds me of AH title track.

There was one speech on Dawn fm and I think only one on here from him at least but yeah I get what youâre saying.
I think the hardest part for me is heâs old man on Dawn but not on here, so Iâm not 100% sure
Dawn FM metaphorically feels a bit like a coma or a breakpoint

tAImeless not even canon to the album imo

I donât really think thatâs true but even if it was true he couldâve picked a better spot for it than where it is. It feels very intentional that he picked this very choppy / jarring sequence in the middle of the album
Also AI really doesnât matter to anybody but us
I canât wait to get there reminds me of snowchild except the instrumental is way more peak

i think after Dawn, he âdiedâ for a second but came back, and seeing that there was nothing after changed him to strive for heaven

Ahhh
Yeah Iâve started to think that Dawn age was a metaphor for getting stuck and feeling aged not necessarily that it actually has anything to do w that, being in a metaphorical purgatory
But also the radio concept really gives off coma vibes, and I feel like Dawn got a slightly different vibe to the rest of the album
i think after Dawn, he âdiedâ for a second but came back, and seeing that there was nothing after changed him to strive for heaven
Also is blssd still on here Iâm really curious about how he went from producer to songwriter
