It looks cool visually but it also seems like this might be another super delf indulgent cinematic effort of The Weeknd

I’ll probably still enjoy this for the cinematography and music, just hoping Abel isn’t gonna make this a cringe fest with his acting, they better not have given him a bunch of corny lines again

Different tone plus the writers and Abel knew what they were doing with the idol dialogue, there’s no way you write s*** like that and not know people are gonna have a field day with it online

And if he can get in front of the camera and deliver those idol lines, swallowing his humility and delivering it an ‘90s sleezy Verhoeven style with intention of it being cheesy and cringe/hilarious, then he’s gonna be fine when he has to get serious.

just because abel gets verhoeven don't mean the idol was good or it succeeded at doing it like he did. that show was terrible.
