This was honestly a beautiful love letter to XO and I genuinely enjoyed every bit of it. However I have no idea what Abel and Trey meant when they said they wanted casual fans to enjoy this too. I personally feel this would be a very hard and confusing watch for anyone that isn’t familiar with Abel’s story or career.

posted this in the film thread but as soon as he starts to lose his voice (singing Wake Me Up) on stage that’s when he sees Jenna in the crowd for the first time and she stays with him until he starts to finds his voice again (singing the final track HUT) in the bed at the end of the movie. maybe she’s supposed to represent his mental block that stopped him from singing
