It makes me think the reasoning is something nefarious. Because if it was all happening under the guise of some cancel culture type s*** then that would be somewhat understandable. But idk, and it’s worrisome because none of us would’ve predicted the rest of the trilogy, and his mainstream standing becoming this after the success of AH.

And it’s ironic how in hindsight this + the Idol era in general started the downward trend of his public perception
