Memento Mori were the best times
It's so rare that you actually get a peak into the artists mind and the sonic palette that inspired them.

Praying this album isnât f***ed mixing wise due to Mike and his shot hearing

i doubt he's gonna let Mike do all the work over his usual team
I mean (god willing) this will be the first rollout in the trilogy not majorly impacted by a global pandemic so hopefully he goes all out. I feel like omicron was a major reason the dawn rollout was smaller than it could have been
atleast we got this

Once he came out with the old man form I was like âoh this era gon be specialâ

I was thinking about this the other day, and maybe this thinking is completely flawed and someone can point that out, but since Max Martin will definitely be mixing some of his songs, it seems very unlikely that the rest of the songs on the album would have s*** mixing. Like it would be very strange for there to be that noticeable of a difference in mixing given Abel's perfectionism when it comes to his full releases.

max don't mix. all abel and max collabs are usually mixed by serban ghenea (who is goated). OPN produced ones would be either by serban as well, or by Matt Cohn (OPN's close collaborator and lately producer, who contributed a lot on dawn). if there are tracks solely prod. by mike, like TMBTLA i fear they are mixed by him

Okay thank you for that, but I feel like the logic could still apply that it seems unlikely Abel would allow that vast of a difference of mixing between songs.
Then again I could just be saying this to make myself feel better. But that is good enough for me.
Justice recorded songs for their recent album at Conway đ
you think they are on more than just wake me up? cause wake me up was done a long time ago so this might just be coincidence

You never know... It would be great to hear Abel on their album. They used Anton Tammi for one of their recent videos as well... Too many coincidences

Winning an Oscar can open many doors. In the case of Johnnie Burn, who won the Academy Award for best sound on Sunday night for his work on Jonathan Glazerâs âThe Zone of Interestâ alongside Tarn Willers, it was a studioâs door the very next day.
The morning after the ceremony, the British sound designer â who also worked on the sound for Yorgos Lanthimosâ multiple Oscar-winning âPoor Thingsâ â turned up at the Fox Studio Lot in Los Angeles to start mixing his next project, an untitled new feature starring Jenna Ortega, Barry Keoghan and the Weeknd directed by Trey Edward Shults (Burn did the sound on his last film, âWavesâ).
