Because clearly they've been busy doing these two Metro + Future projects and Mike Dean is now gonna start on his 424 album. Does it sound like there has been proper investment in his own album ?

It's his last Weeknd album, I know he work fast (OG trilogy is proof of that) but he owes himself that investment...

that "last weeknd album" gon be a lie too in the end lol

also, the album is prolly done. they been likely working nonstop from november till recently.

i think they haven't been this hard at work before that period, except maybe abel was in the studio with max cause they seem to always link up first or after a conceptual skeleton of the record is complete

I just hate how people are trying to say Weeknd is out of his element sending shots at Drake bc he’s not a rapper, but Drake is cool sending shots to him every album he drops lol

There’s hella users so I try not to generalize, but I’m not tryna read s*** opinions such as that and bullshit like “Midrick this, midget that” from drake stans who get pleasure out of defending him and trolling on the internet

I just want him to take a creative high ground about this...
He could go complete scarface and kill everyone, he has referenced scarface before....
This, just makes me question whether there will be a difference between The Weeknd and Abel.

I'm not sure if it makes sense ?

i dont think doing some background vocals and like two verse plus a MV is taking too much of his time, the album has been worked on constantly after he finished touring, and im assuming they did stuff on tour as well.

He also doesnt really need Mike all the time
