They really had an article ready to drop exactly 1 hour after the episode went live
I miss the first Trump presidency where Hollywood wasn't terrified of him

we must restore the feeling @twitch
If you're not calling your friends out for voting for Trump or just cutting them off completely what are you doing

I get every season is this slow burn until the pay off but I really felt last nights episode was just complete filler that added very little to the already existing dynamics we have observed
i think this show pretty easily and obviously peaked with s1 but i saw this before watching episode 2 and think it's a little harsh lol. most of the ep was fleshing out the characters/dynamics after giving the really broad strokes in episode 1. can't contextualise in the wider season yet but i think it made sense in the circumstances.

yea i went overboard
I think the people that don’t like this have the problem of not understanding that this is a top 5 character-driven show of all time, and the plot is just there to service the characters and not the other way around.
If you’re looking for a show with action and/or plot movement every week you’re watching the wrong show.

I actually didn’t see that scene as a shade at Trump voters at all
I was just listening to the official podcast, and I think they phrased it well — it was more so just looking at how certain people out there don’t view Trump substantively. They just view him as an aesthetic choice, either positively or negatively. Like supporting him or not supporting him is part of someone’s personal “brand”

If the MAGA crowd is surprised that a show is liberal leaning in 2025 that's on them
