Crazy timing tho, cause my first child is about to be born in a few days, so I’m probably not going to be able to watch the finale for at least a month or maybe more lol
Gonna be crazy going back into this world one more time when I do
Blessings to you and the new born 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I still hate Saxon lmao idk why everybody flipping on him
He just got jacked off by his brother & now because he turned down a cuck fantasy he Mr. Honorable
Saxon is the most likeable person in the show, how can you hate him
Season 1 might be overrated itt I’m ngl. Yeah Armand was wild and it was cool that everything was so interconnected, but the characters themselves weren’t all that interesting compared to those of season 2 and season 3.
We lowkey need to do a watch along with this thread next weekend for the finale on caracal or something
Come out to my house me and my wife got no kids and a 18 foot long couch
Aye sounds good bro
Idk that episode left me feeling disappointed, the previous episode did a great job of setting up Greg’s party & Rick going over the house but neither really delivered anything interesting
Belinda dumb as hell if she doesn’t up the price & take the money but it looks like she won’t

I think S1 felt the most intimate, scaled and grounded. The White Lotus hotel actually felt like a physically separate entity to the rest of the world in that season and I really liked that. Almost like some rich purgatory until they return to the world at the end of the show.
S3 has a strong main cast but I don’t care for the support and general local cast (apart from P***chai the goat)
alright alright I loved every episode very much but 7..
there’s moments of brilliance here as always, but I’m unsure in some ways about how it’s one dimensional or just a bit too simple/coincidental in some ways that at the penultimate episode didnt resonate
I’m sure they can land this, I love this show and don’t mean to seem too critical at all I’m just invested !
I agree, kinda a weaker episode compared to the previous one.
Also, kinda obvious to me now that some of the subplots really are among the weakest in the whole series. Jason Isaacs has spent 7 episodes taking pills and being d***ged out, fantasizing about a murder/suicide and losing a gun and that's it. Lisa and Gaitok are severely undercooked as well.
Hope they tie it up nicely in the last one tho.
Gaytok: I don’t want to use the gun, violence is not the answer
Lisa in the back:

Seasons are comprised of episodes
So after Breaking Bad aired Fly, you were in hysterics? Breaking Bad out of the GOAT convo, just like that?

Well the penultimate episode of an 8 episode season is a little more important than a throwaway episode like Fly would you not agree? And as most people are pointing out, not much actually happened in terms of moving the story along in episode 7, which makes it much more difficult for things to be sufficiently wrapped up in the finale. Ultimately this does indeed impact the series as a whole, but I remain hopeful nonetheless

Hey you're preaching to the choir, man! I'm not defending this episode. Was cool with some funny moments, but I'd expected a bit more to happen. 90 minutes next week to land it, I hope they do.

Fly is one of the best episodes

“Most people”, white lotus has 2 sets of fans.
1. Those who understand this isn’t a plot driven show and enjoy the nuance and character work
2. Those who watch while looking at their phone and need twist and turns and action every 2 seconds in order to be entertained.

It’s not entirely non plot driven
Sure it’s about the characters and their issues but for the most part they experience big time life changing moments during their stay at the white lotus so it’s not exactly just a week in the life/another vacation
