whats wrong with thinking youre better than people
should i expect everyone to have the same capacities and thus receive equal treatment
or should i invest in a system where you are rewarded proportional to how well you perform relevant tasks (i.e. being good at a job)
That's not even remotely true for true uncapped capitalism lmaaaaooo
You think every rich person is rewarded proportionally to what they contribute to society in a reasonable manner?
Nah. Aside from bills, food, entertainment and travel, having a lot of money puts me in position to always support anyone in need. Especially those I care about that need it
why r u talking abt this like u died and came back
cus i know ppl who have seen the after life and documented it

That’s okay too I think hence being advised to be hard working and diligent and have a stack
I think it’s aimed at aspiring to be rich when it gets sticky

In desperate times, you just try your best to redirect your approach. Unemployment, multiple part time jobs. If desperation makes you do wrong, that’s a morality issue, not money
this is a dumbass thing to say bc that's still a fkn change.
like consider if someone was occasionally self-righteous, then they got paid and got way more self righteous. well, guess what, dude changed from tolerable to insufferable.
the degree to which we are things, like how arrogant we are, or how cautious we are, etc. is part of what makes you, you! if you change that, even if it's just an "increase of what you already were" ur still fundamentally changing ur personality.
You explained exactly what I meant lol

Besides survival, money’s a transformational tool that brings out the worst in man
Nah the premise of getting rich is because you wanna bring prosperity to your people, f*** all that noise.
Being financially secure is not bad but the obsession of status and money is
And I think the latter gets us before the former comes

do you know much about math?
theres this thing called a differential equation. when you combine multiple differential equations you get a system that describes some process quantitatively
most systems of differential equations are extremely sensitive to what are called initial conditions. these are numerical parameters that vary based on how a system starts, which allow you to define the trajectory of the system and ask the question of what would happen in a given context.
capitalism could be a system of differential equations that models how resources flow and how happy people are. but the initial conditions, or how things were organized when capitalism was first initiated, and even who is responsible for initiating and creating this system, will have extreme influence over the outcome of the system
capitalism and communism are both theoretically viable. but one is much more robust, and that is capitalism
I have and I found Jesus
Chasing money makes your soul sick
the pursuit of money is fine but the love of money is where evil comes from. that’s what creates jealousy, what causes people to commit sins, what causes people to exploit others. that’s what’s bad but just trying to make as much money as you can isn’t a bad thing
if im god, i want to make a system that will accomplish some task, and i dont want to have to sit there 24/7 manipulating every aspect of the system
it makes sense that he made a universe that uses something like karma to maintain order, without being the one directly influencing the events. the karma is built into the nature of the system by design

difference between providing for your family and wanting to be rich
Difference between a regular millionaire and billionaire

Interesting

Depends on the person, I know people who would rather live a life of working a 9-5 and having a white picket fence than being a rich person with Fortune 500 company and a huge mansion.
