Depends on how active the development is.

Preproduction can go on forever, and they have a much more dependable engine to work with now since they abandoned RED Engine.

I’m assuming they’re also going to expand somewhat significantly in staff.

They wanna drop all 3 games of the trilogy within a 6 year period of Polaris release

How is Cyberpunk these days?

The two witcher side projects are by contractors

But yeh, a trilogy in 6 years and a cyberpunk sequel

Witcher 4 > 3 years > (witcher 5) > 3 years > witcher 6

They're not hitting this timeline

Only thing comparable to it that I can think of would be FF7 Remake trilogy.

UE5 does seem to specialize with Open-World games too tbh, that was a big sale of it with The Matrix demo.

Everything would need to be extensively mapped out for it to work though.
