It’s clearly a 10/10 game but whatever idiot decided it would be fun to complete a mission then die then have to redo the mission because there’s no autosaves on mission complete is f***ing insane
I just went to a mission where I had to beat this guy at gwent, then he got pissed I won and attacked me. I blocked but someone he attacked me anyways and I died, now I’m at the previous mission so I have to go all the way and play the entire game of gwent again and hope I don’t die again randomly

Yeah same but you can’t always manual save, in the situation I was talking about when you get to the mission a cutscene starts, then you play gwent, then there’s combat. You can’t manual save between any of that, so if you die at the combat you have to redo the cutscenes, redo your dialogue choices, and redo the game of gwent just to get back to the combat
Same thing with the baron lubberkin quest, you can’t manual save at any point so if you die you’re back before you talked with the baron and you gotta grab the baby again and walk through that long sequence all over

Yeah I never struggled with the checkpoints before but on ng+ where any random guy in a tavern is lv.68 and kills Geralt in 1 hit suddenly it’s pissing me off lol

You can set the autosave setting down to every 3 minutes, in the gameplay options, that might help

ILoveCheeseCakeAre you noticing any stuttering while playing? When I tired the update on my pro it felt like there was a frame hitch every few seconds. Turned me off of it completely
New update 5.01 out now fixes stutter and apparently improves the graphics and performance
You can also turn off bloom which I guess people wanted

I think bloom was washing out the colors just a tad, the new update allows you to turn it off and it def looks better. Turned depth of field off too.
