As long as the writing holds up, I'm willing to roll with the punches lol. Got a good feeling I'll end up enjoying
The writing is even better for some of the sidequests than the main quest.
Especially the moral/ethical dillemmas you get from some of them. Peak writing tbh.

So far so good
Wrapping up the red Baron mission where Geralt has to go find Tamara just to ensure to the Baron that his daughter's still alive.
I'm playing the GOTY edition

Also Geralt is hilarious

Valid, princess was just standing there like a silly billy
Started up a new playthrough, my third overall, of the remastered version today.
First played through it back on release, then played it again in 2020 during covid.
Only played for like 3 hours, just messing around White Orchard, but my god - they did a fantastic job. The sunsets are even more glorious now, the faces, characters and monsters actually look like they belong in this gen of consoles & the combat (while not really being totally revamped as it might've seemed from the trailers) really does feel a lot less stiff, more fluid and exciting.
10/10 game man, can't wait to get to Novigrad and Skellige
Game of life
Im seeing posts that the remaster is actually ass. Can anyone who played the game attest to that?

On switch 2 there’s a problem with blurriness, but apparently CDPR confirmed they know and it’s getting patched
Im not running into any problems on ps5 pro yet, although there is an annoying bug with audio where the dialogue is quieter than the music. However there is a fix, just meditate to pass time and it fixes it.
Other than that, when you receive some quest notifications like quest complete or quest received there’s a minor stutter for 1 second
I’m reading there’s already a patch out today but I don’t know what it fixes, but it’s a good sign that they’re quickly fixing stuff

Most of the complaints come from people disliking the new lighting and brighter colors
Imo, it just makes the world even more alive and I don’t mind it at all
Haven’t run into any bugs on my PS5 so far, about 5 hours in
Novigrad gotta be one of the best video game cities, seriously so much aura

Are you noticing any stuttering while playing? When I tired the update on my pro it felt like there was a frame hitch every few seconds. Turned me off of it completely

yeah I posted about that earlier in the page, it’s at every quest update and auto save but it’s not too annoying for me, I hope they fix it, I believe a patch aimed at performance issues on ps5 is about to drop soon so for you I’d just wait it out a few days

I should prolly stop scrolling itt. Playing for the first time and I'm immersed so far
I’m a little picky with combat stuff but this looks amazing. Never played before
