Lovely, soothing album. My favorite memory with it has got to be my first ever plane ride a few years back. It was night time, I had a window seat and this album was playing through my earbuds. Just for a moment, everything was perfect. Looking forward to their solo efforts and the next group album! Thoughts on xx, KTT2?

used to listen their albums almost everyday

saw the xx live and was prolly the best live performance I’ve seen so far

Jamie xx is absolutely insane going dumb on like 4 mpc, 3 synths, and a bunch of live percussion all by himself

also love how their music sounds very minimal but epic at the same time. Also love how their s*** sounds kinda happy but also very melancholic at the same time (alot of it has to do w the steel drums and harps Jamie likes to use). I know they said they chose to keep it simple so they would be able to play their songs w ease during live shows but i still like to think they are masters of restraint.

Saw them on the U.S. tour for this album. They sounded awesome and had one of my favorite light shows I’ve ever seen. That random band jj opened, who I don’t think did anything else again.
