You can see it especially on reddit with the popularity of subs like /r/antiwork and on youtube with all the anti-work videos that keep poppin off lately.
It isn't just an online thing either. 34.4 million people have quit their jobs this year and a record-breaking number of 4.4 million people quit their job in September. They even coined a term to describe this phenomenon "the Great Resignation".

What's ktt2 economists and sociologists take on this
Update :
People realized during the pandemic that the world operates just fine without them slaving away 24/7
Psyop
NEETdom is soul crushing Unless you are raising a family or doing something else worthwhile (sustenance farming, painting, fishing etc)
Which these people are not
The irony of the “anti work” vocal minority investing all their time and energy to promote this “movement”
Next step is to not pay taxes and to default on our medical bills
I legit can’t wait for the latter. So f***ing crooked

"anti work" "movement" pulling the strings
Wealth inequality is a different convo but I like contributing to society so I don’t mind working and seeing my hard work pay off
I'm a sociologist and my opinion on the subject is : f*** your boss don't go to work let's make them Pay

Which these people are not
No one wants to be a neet naturally. That's a small portion of the population. People want to work, but not kill themselves over an imaginary 40 hours a week when tech and systems have evolved so much for humans

The problem is y'all don't realize this isn't true. The pandemic let a lot of freeloaders build on the backs on 'essential' workers and then convince themselves the system was never needed after suckling the government's titties for a year.
I dont think there is a anti work movement going on anymore than the last 40 years
Next step is to not pay taxes and to default on our medical bills
This + debtmaxing >>>>>>>
Just went on r/antiwork and sorted top posts all time and it's all workers telling their s***ty bosses to go f*** themselves and quitting their jobs lmao s***s hard af
It's a result of people realizing our economic system is f***ing stupid and that we work for it rather than the other way around.
People deserve better work/life balance
People are tired overworking for not enough pay and no benefits while the companies and CEO’s make record breaking profits
People deserve more and should fight for it, time to stop bowing down to these companies that treat their workers like s***
next step: universal income*
