People deserve better work/life balance
People are tired overworking for not enough pay and no benefits while the companies and CEO’s make record breaking profits
People deserve more and should fight for it, time to stop bowing down to these companies that treat their workers like s***

Psyop
NEETdom is soul crushing Unless you are raising a family or doing something else worthwhile (sustenance farming, painting, fishing etc)
Which these people are not
This is true. I think people are not sick of working or getting value in their lives from work. They’re simply tired of a society where their livelihood and complete worth as a person is tied to their employment status. It doesn’t help that many of these jobs are exploitative and soul crushing.
People realized during the pandemic that the world operates just fine without them slaving away 24/7
It's a result of people realizing our economic system is f***ing stupid and that we work for it rather than the other way around.
Yea it sucks but there has never been a better economic system unless you want to return to essentially hunter gatherer society.
Its obviously not ideal but people doing stuff like this will slowly help improve it to be even better.
The wages haven't kept up with cost of living and people are sick of it. Not to mention the horrible employee and work relationship where you're expected to drop everything for your job but your job looks at you as expendable. COVID really woke a lot of people up to how important time at home is. I didn't even mention the terrible 5 day a week 40 hours bs system they got setup
Jobs got to start offering up more benefits and stop being toxic environments before people go back
bro we developed all these luxuries just to become wage slaves
our ancestors are disappointed in us

if anything it proved the opposite to me, and that workers should expect more compensation because of how vital they are to things running
There are studies showing working 4 days or 6 hours increases productivity.
I understand not all industries can do that, but a lot of jobs can.
When you work 40 or more hours then add another 2 each day for commute to and from the job, then you’re basically left with no time for yourself.

Today I learned that in 2003 the fast food company “Sonic” began printing out their own money to pay their workers. This led to a huge inflation in the economy and was one of the leading factors of the 2008-2009 recession. Would highly recommend looking up Sonic Inflation on google if you want to learn more.

Products have been adjusting to inflation the entire time and we cant even get every state on board with a $15 minimum wage. The minimum wage hasn't reflected reality since the last time it was updated in 2009 while the dollar already goes down every year since
If companies are going to increase on top of that they can go f*** themselves especially the b****es that still outsource to a different country using slave labor
Just went on r/antiwork and sorted top posts all time and it's all workers telling their s***ty bosses to go f*** themselves and quitting their jobs lmao s***s hard af
It’s high key inspiring lol.
