See I disagree. I don’t think Candace is going out of her way to stop progress. I think she’s just severely misguided. I know it may be impossible to look at it this way, but I truly believe that she wants the best for Black Americans. She’s just been sold this idea that since 1868 every Black person had the same rights and opportunities as White people when in 2020 that’s still not the case. Just like she was a liberal her whole life up until her 20s, she can still change her mind. It’s not impossible.
