Our people(and people in general)defining black as a characteristic has always been wrong imo. No other race really does that,we as black people still haven’t accepted that we’re just people. Alright I definitely see where you coming from. That last point you made tho, is exactly why I made this thread. Because personally (and maybe life will teach me differently in the future since I’m only 21) I don’t think it’s a waste. You yourself said, we all we got. I agree with that. I understand the frustration and the disappointment in those who consciously choose to not listen, but personally I would say don’t give up. I’m not trynna say we’re all responsible for each other because we’re not. But I wish we could act like it. And I wish we wanted to.

A big reason why I made this thread too tho, is cuz the example you gave me of your homie is one of an extreme case. I am all for questioning authority and the official narrative, but I’m also gonna get that vaccine the second it’s available. I honestly commend you for even trynna talk to your boy who is so close minded, because that gives me the idea that you’d be willing to talk to someone who actually is open minded. I guess when it comes to an extreme like your roommate I can understand giving up, but s*** at least you tried. And that’s kinda what I’m trynna push for with this thread. I’m not making an excuse tho. I personally do not believe that Candace Owens happens to know information that we all know to be true, but goes out of her way to spread falsehoods with the intention of keeping Black people from overcoming out struggles. I really do not think this is the case and I hope to meet Candace one day so I can find out for myself. I’m not discounting the possibility of that being the case either, it’s just not something I believe is happening. And my point is, if she is doing that with such disgusting intentions, I personally can find a place in my heart to forgive her. Or I think I can. I at least would like to try to.

My point is really I don’t think it’s impossible to bring grifters over to the right side. I really think it’s doable and should be an active mission. We need as many people as possible for this movement to truly be significant. We need unification under a common goal. The problem is we can’t even agree on what the problem or the root of the problem is. And any mention of a theory for this that either side doesn’t like gets instantly shut down by the other. These are conversations we need to be having. And yeah I understand that KTT isn’t a research institution and that much more professional people are already on top of this, but I don’t think it would harm us at all to have these conversations and to normalize having these conversations among regular civilians. And KTT happens to be the platform I have to do it cuz my Twitter and IG are dry as f*** and full of White people.

The idea that they haven’t is a lie. Look at the presidential ballot this year my brother. That’s my point this is not about a side. Lyndon B Johnson (D) Richard Nixon (R) Ronald Reagan (R) Bill Clinton (D) Bush (R) both Democrats and Republicans have contributed to the horrors we face. The 94 Crime Bill was a bipartisan effort. This is not about sides. It’s about mentality. Candace Owens is going to have to bare with the fact that Reagan legalized private prisons. She is going to have to. And if there’s no one around her willing to talk to her and help her see the moral hypocrisy in her actions, why would she ever feel the need to change? Especially if the criticism only comes in the form of attacks.

The Revolt panel with her TI and Killer Mike was a great first step, especially being publicized. But the animosity on stage still prevailed. Killer Mike was the middle ground in that panel and I’m saying we should all learn how to be more like him. Every time Candace said something that TI disagreed with Mike would explain to him what she meant and why he might agree, and vice versa. Killer Mike attitude is the goal.
