Very few implications of AI in art that are acceptable to me

But my friend with no coding knowledge is using AI to do the coding for him to make a reverb/delay/granulator plug-in i think its pretty dope

never seen a dude who uses ai like this and is walking around with a chick like madison beer... it speaks volumes on someone's character

This is the major issue, outside of job outsourcing, environment damage, creativity recycling and "fast tracking" something that is suppose to be fun and with meaning - also that the lazy majority creators are generating off of someone else's work and sources, not their own work and sources

There are a few "ethical" and cool ways to use AI in creative and workflow spaces that are interesting and self built upon, but there are hella of a lot of ways to use it unethically, lazy, sloppy and lame ways

Most AI users are s*** creatives that create s*** work, but instead of just making s*** on their own that is overall harmless at the end of the day, their s*** is now directly affecting others negatively in multiple aspects both in creative and ethics

I do think AI can be good as a tool, ive used it once myself to create a custom art filter overlay on top of my own footage n assets for a video for a song of mine, that went through multiple custom generations on top of further personal editing in Photo and video software frame by frame - but most people using AI, and especially the tech bros and entertainment corps, are not using and not going to use their own sources and art to generate upon and are not going to extend the further actual skill effort of fixing and correcting and then improving upon the AI work themselevs with their own skills and creative input in separate manual programs

Everyone else in the industry saw AI coming and at the very least staged strikes to protect their own identity and likeliness. All we did was jump on it like the $5 w****s we is (and let me not disrespect s***workers cause as of 2025, s***workers got better standards than the regular degular musician if we wanna keep it a buck.)

we don't actually want nothing to improve and we'll always be the first one to jump on the "next big thing" in order to somehow increase upon the obviously false but still captivating illusion of "increasing in wealth" while eliminating key proponents of art that have been responsible for some of the most longest lasting innovations and musical accomplishments within the medium.

point of views like @op are legit no better than the niggas that first created the ideas of "avatars" (e.g. the milli vanillis) or people that are the frontman of songs that come out but don't actually sing the song.

there's no money, no nothing you could tell me to not want my art to be as good as it can be. as an artist, and in the example you gave, i know you know about that. just
tryna bring the vision to life. so, imma try s***, and if it results in something good, i have a very hard time being like nah, cause im just an obsessive fiend for the best art. and, there's also a reality where, what if there's an artist out there who would otherwise sink, and deprive us their creative genius if not for a tool that could help the world become a more creative place. maybe this helps struggling artists give the world more beauty. as a TOOL. as a HELPER. not as a replacement. the artist is still everything to me.
