Man I’ve seen you in more of these threads than anyone else. You are the stan.
It is weird people never wanted to give this album it's flowers
I remember most the album was on the top 50 all at once I think, really dominated for a long ass time
I think it’s the filler tracks
NWTS & IYRTITL are better
3 classics
Nobody is denying Take Care in 2024 man lmao
It’s unanimous thought that his 2011-2015 run was iconic, it’s everything after that that gets denied and discussed
Y'all give Take Care all the love that I just wish y'all gave the same love to So Far Gone.
@op just making s*** up. Take Care is literally his undisputed best album by most people
Great album, although Drake has deviated from this style so much that it kinda sounds dated, but it's still good music regardless. I have to be in a certain mood to wanna listen to this album all the way through.
Never listened to this album, I heard it’s the dog’s s*** though. XD
If you're that young you probably wouldn't like it, no trap drums

no I never heard of drake until the blue album, but that even aged horribly
Y'all give Take Care all the love that I just wish y'all gave the same love to So Far Gone.
@op
This true though
I think at this point, no one who's even remotely inundated in Hip-Hop music would dispute this album as being a classic. The Motto, Marvin's Room, Cameras / Good Ones Go, Shot for Me, it's a mature version of SFG and it shifted R&B and Hip-Hop in a material way.
I think the greater discussion would be just how many classics does he have?
IMO Hard to suggest that IYRT / TC / NWTS / SFG aren't classics based on any real metrics / impact. So I say 4.
My hot take that I'm alone on is that most of his newer records are better than the older ones once the nostalgia is taken off.
Like, I've been listening to Drake since Extra Special and Video Girl off of Room For Improvement...to act like his older material is way better than some of the s*** off of Her Loss and FATD is CRAZY TO ME LOL

exactly how i feel
feel like every project he drops theres always gems on it that sound better than anything previously
