you can be against abortion for yourself and still acknowledge that it needs to be safe and regulated for people that do need them.

most people (politicians) that are pro life want to ban abortion for everyone including rape and life threatening pregnancy, want to defund planned parenthood which helps people practice safe sex, and push abstinence which has been proven to not work
