I’m pro choice, but I agree a fetus at 6 months is too late to be terminated except in rare instances. I don’t think this tweet is all that controversial, although some of my pro choice friends think it should be legal up until birth. Which sounds pretty whack to me, but what do I know

Personally I think right up until the end of the first trimester is idea. That should’ve been enough time to decide. But then again a lot of s*** can happen in a woman’s life during a pregnancy.

i think there are laws in place that at a certain point you can’t have an abortion.

but adoption is also a bit crazy because a lot of mothers who decide usually end up keeping the child and those who don’t get some mental health i.e. depression.

but for white and asian babies adoption works out fine because a lot of people are trying to adopt them.

for black babies right now they’re suffering and they grow up without any parents whatsoeever because people aren’t trying to adopt black children and it’s pretty sad

This is literally not something anybody can just go do if they want. There's a whole process with multiple approvals for this late of an abortion, and they are very rare.

I am absolutely HOWLING at this thread being 8 pages of people debating this like its some kind of regular occurence where women are just walking into clinics at 5+ months going "aight bro just scoop it out before I go to lunch".
