It’s not just that she has these nominations, it’s that she got family ties in the industry. You have to admit it all just looks a way.
Her album had absolutely no f***ing impact at all. Critically, commercially or culturally. Literally came and went. It has to have something going for it at least. Arrested Development was really loved by a very vocal minority even though it didn’t do well and took time to catch on.

That Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga was a follow up to their 2014 album Cheek to Cheek. It was a huge record globally (Tony Bennett a worldwide legend) so the follow up Love for Sale was also pretty big, with it's particular crowd of old farts who like traditional swing, pop, jazz music.
Love For Sale is also more or less Tony Bennett's final album as he retired from performing and recording music after finishing this album. He also has Alzheimer's so...yeah the album is basically a swan song more or less. Pretty good album too in my opinion if you're into swing and jazz.
