I’ll drop a game for damn near anything. Recent games I haven’t dropped are Frontiers, Violet, Vampire Survivor.
Recently I’ve dropped Scorn
it’s gonna sound stupid but when there’s too much to do
i used to love playing open world games and MMOs, but i no longer have the patience to level characters, go on side quests, explore areas etc. it’s just a chore to me now tbh
it’s like there’s so much to do i have no clue where to start
I feel this 100%
When a game does this I instantly return it
Never dropped a game
I usually watch plenty of reviews and gameplay to see if I would like the game
So going in, I know I’m gonna pretty much love / like the game
And that seems to work for me. I’ve enjoyed every game I’ve played and IGNORE games that look boring or trash to me
Get a load of this guy
Any type of exploration. Ragnarok has been sitting since chapter 2 and do not think I am coming back to it
Y'all got some weird pet peeves ngl lol
I would say something like unresponsive/
unintuitive controls or bad camera. Some cameras really give me a headache and make it unplayable
When traversal is boring as s*** and slow with nothing interesting going on
No game has yet to make riding a horse fun

idk about this you'll never know if you'll like a game or not till you actually try it. I don't like turn-based RPG's i find most of them piss easy with the story carrying them but i tried stuff like earthbound, undertale and FF and loved those games. Then there's witcher 3 has great reviews and it has a lot of things i want in a game but i still think it's f***ing garbage.
Not having unlimited sprint.
Endless text dialogue with no voice acting. Idk maybe cause I slogged through FFXIV MSQ to reach Heavensward, but doing it made me realize I no longer care about a games story/plot. Nowadays I find myself tuning out or straight up skipping cutscenes. I’ve become the person I hated when I was younger
I stopped playing prince of persia cuz after every wave if enemies he does this dumb f***ing pose where he sheaths both blades and its unskippable, irrelevant, and so f***ing pervasive it never let me get into the game
Backtracking can get really annoying very fast
Playing sekiro, stopped for like a week now cuz i gotta find a scroll i had no idea about, which apparently is at the bottom of a lake? Like how tf am i supposed to know that. And i gotta fight some dude to learn the secret ninja art of… wait for it… DIVING UNDER WATER
S***ty unfinished rushed games that don’t work on release
Unfortunately that's almost every other game that's released nowadays
god so many things honestly.
too many waypoints/objectives in a huge empty open world (kind of sick of the genre in general rn)
poor game feel is a huge one for me
pacing, so many games limp to the finish line
overly complicated skill trees/crafting mechanics
crafting in general is so overplayed
poorly thought out mechanics (morality systems from the 00's for example)
TUTORIALS EVERY 10 SECONDS
bad story
just generally a bland and boring vibe (ubisoft/horizon zero dawn)
S***ty performance
I dropped Persona 5 cause the stupid cat wouldnt let me do anything
Also the redundant dialogue overload I can do whacko 2 hour Kojima cutscenes all day but these anime games where they repeat the same mundane s*** over and over and over again makes my brain melt
YES I UNDERSTAND THE MAN IS BAD CAN WE JUST JUMP INTO HIS MIND AND MURDER HIM ALREADY JESUS
Dropped Apex for now because the new map is that ass.
S*** is so terrible. It’s really unremarkable too. All previous maps are unique while that one doesn’t do a thing
tired of crafting s*** too
Lmaooo man

Good post.
I forgot about morality systems. Those are awful
