force me to follow NPCs that walk faster than my walking speed and way slower than my running speed I dare you
I'll get a f***ing refund and send bots to call your game "derivative" on every elitist tastemaking board

I f***ing hate this. I’ve closed a few games and never returned because of this
When traversal is boring as s*** and slow with nothing interesting going on
No game has yet to make riding a horse fun
some of y'all didn't get to play N64 or NGC Zelda games as a child and it shows
@Tobacky got clapped? Need him itt
I’ll drop a game quickly if I see too much loot dropping. I get unreasonably mad when my inventory gets cluttered with s***
Trash fight mechanics. I've been spoilt by greatness such as the Arkham series, Ghost of Tsushima, Spiderman, etc.
Those games have some of the worst combat systems lol…

Did you play them? Arkham combat is great. If you’re just mindlessly mashing buttons then you’re playing it wrong. It’s rhythm based

man i'm damn near 30 of course I played the f*** out of Zelda on the 64 and GC. Those games are GOATed and aren't nearly as big and a hassle to ride through as modern games like RDR2 and Horizon are

but is riding a horse in those classics actually fun? Or just a means to an end of getting to your next location? To me it's just a boring experience that luckily doesn't take long unlike modern games, so I'm willing to overlook it in those older games. GTA doesn't have this problem because driving a car fast through traffic is fun
Also valhalla boring as s*** too you literally just set your horse to auto-travel the road to objective and it will be a 10 min ride

There’s one.
If auto-travel is in your game, it’s getting dropped.
The fact that you’re aware your game has boring traversal and you went out of your way to make a workaround instead of making it fun is a slap in the face to the consumer
third person games that auto-play the fights
yes I never liked final fantasy i dont understand how people enjoy pushing a button and letting the character do the rest automatically

When the title screen says "Press Any Button" but some buttons don't work

FACTS FACTS FACTS. 5 years ago I'd overlook this in games like the witcher 3 but at this point devs gotta realize traversal is the weakest part of their game when they sell us on "large open world."
And i aint acting like I got the answer either because not every game can be spiderman and I still enjoy games trying different settings besides big city with traffic, but horse riding as it currently stands in AAA games is a snooze fest

Played the Arkham Asylum demo and have not touched any of them since
last one i remember was dying light 2 when i saw all the towers you have to activate to reveal the map

It was fun as hell, just didn't scale right to bigger and bigger maps. They had a choice to make between fun and realism they picked realism that's why valhalla was a pain.
