yea ik that's why i said why downgrade. makes no sense
The only reason I keep Apple Music is cus of all my iTunes library downloads I’ve had since pre-streaming. And the disgusting green color scheme of Spotify is enough for me to never consider switching
if you're entrenched into the UI of Spotify, I wouldn't
there's some pretty substantial gaps in the user experience. and like others said, there's definitely a different focus in the way music is consumed by the AM audience and that's reflected in how s*** like playlists and mixes are pushed.
I just came off a 3 month trial (and owned it before) and I couldn't full time transfer over to AM unless it was legitimately free
I do love the way they present songs though. like the cover is always high res and the matching backdrop generally matches well. I also think Lossless sounds louder and clearer on the speakers, although that could be a placebo affect
I switched to Apple Music last year and haven’t regretted it. It’s a much better platform to curate your music.
I just switched to Apple Music because I got like 4 months free with my AirPods.
It’s nice but unlike Spotify the desktop app is garbage to stream from.
So far, nobody has giving a legitimate benefit from Spotify except user experience
AM looking like the winner
I'm a Spotify person only because I use Spotify for every device (Windows, macOS, and iOS) and Apple Music isn't great (in terms of UX) on Windows or macOS compared to Spotify
