while i don't generally agree with outting people, gaetz is suspiciously supportive of gay rights for someone from a party known for being anti-gay. if he was saying this stuff as a democrat it would be easier to brush off as just RTing party memos but actively going against the grain of the party to support gay people is suspicious. gaetz's claim of when he said nestor was adopted (earliest photos of them together) align with the support of the repeal for the florida gay adoption bill.

dude i never heard of katie hill, and just read up on her whole scandal. that s*** is crazy lol.

this b**** got exposed for having a whole nazi tattoo , and its people like her who keep tryna tell us that trumps the nazi

No lol, do not try and rationalise this. There is something absolutely off here. Gaetz, a single white male, is claiming to have adopted a Cuban pubescent boy, housing him secretly all this time, all while splitting his time between Florida and Washington. Not to mention Gaetz has DUI's on his record.

Essentially Gaetz is claiming that he hid him all this time in order to not expose him to the harsh political realm, but now, when he suddenly see's an opportunity to deflect criticism, he puts him in the spotlight.

    In addition... https://www.orlandoweekly.com/Blogs/archives/2017/12/29/florida-rep-matt-gaetz-was-literally-the-only-person-to-vote-against-an-anti-human-trafficking-bill

    Its crazy man

a lot of stuff doesnt add up but also like, a lot of cubans come here into florida and then because of US-Cuba laws get citizenship, so he could have adopted him as a cuban immigrant, not from a cuban orphanage theoretically

I wouldn’t say these views are taboo in the GOP anymore. Also considering his district, it doesn’t seem unpopular at all

This becomes easier to understand if you start out with him being gay
    Which he is
    But the kid was underage......

this sounds weird to say but a lot of old men prey on younger gay men or make them think they’re gay ala joe exotic

    miamiherald.com/news/politics-government/article226861944.html

Democrats are calling for Labor Secretary Alex Acosta’s resignation. Republicans support an internal investigation into Acosta’s role in a controversial plea deal for multimillionaire s***abuser Jeffrey Epstein in 2008.
But Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz, one of President Donald Trump’s biggest defenders in Congress, is taking a different approach.

In an interview with the Miami Herald on Wednesday, Gaetz said reexamining Acosta’s handling of Epstein’s case, which came under increased scrutiny after the Herald’s three-part series Perversion of Justice, sets a “dangerous” precedent for prosecutors. A federal judge ruled last week that prosecutors run by Acosta, then the U.S. attorney for South Florida, broke the law when they failed to inform Epstein’s underge victims of the plea agreement. The judge gave federal prosecutors 15 days to confer with Epstein’s victims and their attorneys to come up with a resolution

“I don’t know what I don’t know and certainly if there is ever an indication of misconduct, that has to be thoroughly reviewed, but I think it’s a dangerous thing to go back and second-guess decisions that prosecutors have to make in real time,” Gaetz said. “I’m deeply troubled by Mr. Epstein’s actions, I think that he certainly should have faced a far stiffer consequence than he did, but having tried cases I know that it’s hard to go back and sort of second-guess the risk a***ysis that goes into putting witnesses before a jury and subjecting them to cross examination.”

    Monky business

that's fair, i just would say he's more vocal about it than most other people in the GOP. like GOP reps might say "yeah gay people are important", but will then turn around and vote things like adoption bills.
