SNL's probably mostly nonblack/blavity black 30+ year old writing team has relied on this schtick of misusing AA/rap/etc. slang + dyed hair and face tats for a few years now whenever they want to make a joke about young people

It's just not funny.

Had they somehow pulled this off with better actors and an overall better skit, it wouldn't be an issue imo.

The fact that it's so stiff with these white folks only emphasizes how much they look and goofily sound when trying to use AAVE.

My 25 year old wife found this funny, she works with some 18-20 year olds in undergrad for medical school and alot of them white do talk/look/act like this

obviously you cant generalize an entire generation of people, but like I said dividing people up by generations makes no sense cause like wtf theres young and old people in a generation

What's crazy is they could literally just go on social media and take the corny 'comedians' from there if they wanna go with this type of humor
