Emergency programs like unemployment bonuses and rent moratorium are the only reason our country didn’t implode on itself during COVID, and once those policies end in September, it WILL implode

I really think you should research and educate yourself on Native american culture and how before colonizers destroyed their lives they actually were all about collectivism and giving back to their entire community every month while keeping “competition” with other activities. We could have a much better society if colonizers collaborated along with native culture

the only way for it to change is for everything to fall apart. we need forced sacrifice (war, natural disaster, etc) and then when we rebuild the cycle will start again

Anerica from its foundation has been “individualist” in that capitalistic way — yeoman farmers and all that — yet people had much deeper, or at least less openly antagonistic, social bonds than they seem to today
