Times like this really show you who’s for the culture and who’s just in it cause it’s cool.

Regardless of what you think about the song, the message in itself is powerful.

Part of hip hop has always been addressing political issues. If you don’t understand that then you don’t need to speak on black culture. Period.

    Yup that’s exactly my point

Ppl saying the song “sucks” man the point of the whole thing clearly when over your head

It’s a powerful message and one that not many rappers are bold enough to make these days.

    good boy

    It’s more of a video/song experience than a song

The video itself is far more powerful than the song yup

It’s why it was never released as a single or anything, the song came out right when the video came out

Tbh thank you because I only listened to it once and i was put off by the presentation but seeing your posts on the album has made me want to check it out again and give it the attention it deserves lol

It's worth it. I'll admit, yes it could have been presented better. However, my main concern with an album is always if the music is good or not. And the music on this album is certainly good.

I heard he made some wild comments in the past, I’ll youtube it. Something along the lines of racism doesn’t exist or something

He's someone who has become disassociated with black people and our struggles. He lives an entirely different life from us. He's from a vastly different perspective. S***, in other cases of police killing black people who has openly said that it isn't his concern and not his battle to fight.

He believes he has never experienced racism in his life, and therefore it doesn't exist. Lil Wayne simply just does not care about black people

Word we def need more people that care more about music than everything around it

Wasn’t the argument i was trying to make

I said it’s more relevant than any other rap song released in that year

Bc there was a thread on here few months ago saying how it didn’t have a lasting effect
