First graph is a manipulation of data, conditions of suffering and poverty are increasing outside of the core countries.
Second graph is laughable because it's the aforementioned core countries with a tiny handful of others tacked on. This thread is about capitalism's impact upon those at the periphery.
Can't immediately dismiss the last graph at a glance, but if it's anything like the rest of the material WDI puts out ..
and this as well lol

Anyone with half a f***ing brain can tell that the world has become a drastically better place for billions of people in the last 100 years thanks to capitalism if you can't see that then you're going out of your way to ignore the facts
Yes capitalism is so awful for the world
extreme poverty...
after that there's poverty... which is still poverty...
And at what cost does people get out extreme poverty? Working 12h a day to still lack of fundamental conditions?
You can't just look at graphs bro.

You can thank modern advances in science actually.
Claiming capitalism is what "bettered everyone's lives" just means you're brainwashed by the very system enslaving you.

life didn't get better for the working class and poor because of capitalism
it got better for them because of the people who resisted it and made demands of capitalism

Yes it did.

I'm willing to show you the statistics showing that the opposite is true, but your appeal to "just look outside bro" is weird.
90% of people who share your ideology have never even been to one of these countries.
and if they were to go, conditions would confirm the exact opposite.
the 8 hour work day, the minimum wage etc., no child labor are not things that were inherent to capitalism. they were victories that were fought and won by the people.
life didn't get better for the working class and poor because of capitalism

That's what it's all about. If capitalism was aloud full libertarian freedom we would be literal slaves.
It's all about the working class standing up and fighting against capitalism just to make it sort of work even with thousands left hungry.
Capitalism relies on giving the worker as little as possible before they rise up.

Statistics that show that infant mortality rate is increasing? And that people can't read? And that poverty has increased over the last 100 years globally? Would love to see it. The fact that you b**** and complain about life in the United States (and if not you, synopsis at least) is proof you've never been to any of these countries

Genuinely cannot attribute that to capitalism. No causation just correlation.
These advances are evident in modern socialist societies anyways.
what did capitalism do for black people? look up their median household wealth in 2020. it certainly wasn't helping them advance when it enslaved them, marginalized them etc.,
look at the actual material gains of the working class of all races in the past 4-5 decades compared to the top 1%. look at the massive amounts of inequality in some of these countries that capitalism has improved. we have 500k homeless people just in america. how has capitalism served them? or the 45k who die every year because they can't afford healthcare.

braindead bootlicker.

Hmmmm.... Let's see wasn't the slave trade the largest capitalist market of all time until recently?
Capitalism doesn't give a f*** about human rights.
"capitalism raises literacy rates!"
looks at all the socialist countries who achieved p much full literacy
again, correlation =/= causation.

I'm in favor of reparations for black people due to low median household wealth due to a lack of passed down wealth starting from slavery. S*** is not perfect. My point is you can't ignore the benefits that it's had on billions of people
"I prefer a prosperous stock market over basic human rights and preventing climate change/collapse"
braindead bootlicker.
Funny how I'm braindead but I'll be more successful than your entire bloodline

You telling me what I can't ignore while you continue to ignore the fact that capitalism literally is killing the planet, keeping untold numbers in poverty, killing countless others etc,.

Adequate data for a 100 year timescale doesn't really exist. The institutions trying to make century-long claims are usually cherrypicking
I can definitely show you that things have gotten worse globally in the last few decades, from the standpoint of poverty etc
Idk what you're trying to say with that last part. I do live in the United States, if that's what you're asking.
Anyone with half a f***ing brain can tell that the world has become a drastically better place for billions of people in the last 100 years thanks to capitalism if you can't see that then you're going out of your way to ignore the facts
yeah it may have helped the world someway, but it's time for it to go.. it's doing more damage than good right now
You telling me what I can't ignore while you continue to ignore the fact that capitalism literally is killing the planet, keeping untold numbers in poverty, killing countless others etc,.
There need to be regulations that prevent s*** like climate change of course. But you can't ignore the benefits that it's given us and many others
